Eating out

The kitchens are well equipped for any chef but if the cook wants a well deserved night off there are a fantastic variety of restaurants a short drive away.  Here are some of our favourites...

Our favourite local Italian is Stefano's in Silsden though  we also enjoy Brody's and Oakleys in Skipton.

Bistro Saigon is in the centre of Ilkley and is a Viatnamese Restaurant.  It offers authentic, fresh, mouth-watering dishes accompanied by excellent service.  It is my favourite restaurant!

Filmore and Union offers Breakfast, Lunch and dinner in lovely surroundings offering healthy food.  They have restaurants in Skipton and Ilkley and are one of my fave places!

The Tempest Arms, Elslack if undoubtedly one of our favourite places for traditional pub food.  Excellent choice, generous servings at reasonable price.

Alexander's opened in Summer 2017 and this European Inspired Kitchen offers food throughout the day!  Has an amazing outside area so a must for a nice day!

For Indian food look no further than the Aagrah in Skipton (eat in or take-away).  The Spice Grill in Skipton also receives good reviews and is apparently cheaper than the Aagrah.

Fancy sampling some traditional Fish 'n' Chips then there are plenty of shops to choose from!  The largest place in Skipton is Bizzie Lizzie's

Skipton and Ilkley are obvious choices to eat at though Harrogate is a nice drive away and offers lots of different restaurants including some larger chains such as Gino's and Jamie Olivers.

If in Leeds are 3 favourites would be:

Ambiente Tapas

Gino D'Acampo's

Restaurant Bar and Grill

Le Bistrot Pierre is in Ilkley and is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  The early bird menu makes it extremely reasonable for the quality of food on offer.

Le Caveau is in Skipton and offers English and French cuisine.  A good choice if you're a keen meat-eater!
